Nylon tolerates a wider range but has its own vulnerability: it is dye-site sensitive, so acid dyes from red drink mix or food coloring bond permanently and need a reducing agent rather than a general pre-spray. Polyester and olefin are oil-loving, so they usually want a product aimed at oily soil, and both are crush-prone under aggressive mechanical work.

Application Matters as Much as Product
