Members judge your gym
by the locker room.
Specialty cleaning for gyms, yoga and pilates studios, CrossFit boxes, dance studios, and martial-arts academies. Sweat, rubber flooring, mirror surfaces, locker rooms, and equipment that members touch hundreds of times a day. We clean for that — without leaving chemical residue on the bench they sit on next.
Sweat is corrosive. Cleaning has to keep up.
Fitness facilities live in a constant battle against sweat, foot odor, mat rot, and member churn. Members cancel memberships over locker-room conditions and rubber-floor smell long before they cancel over equipment. Most cleaning services treat your gym like an office. It is not.
Sweat Everywhere, Always
Sweat soaks into rubber flooring, mat seams, equipment padding, mirror bases, and yoga blocks. By 9pm Monday it has fermented into the smell members complain about Tuesday morning.
Daily wipe-down protocol with enzyme cleaners that actually break down sweat protein, not just spread it. Rubber flooring extraction weekly, mat seam attention, padding rotation flagged.
Locker Rooms = Member Churn
A neglected locker room kills retention faster than a broken treadmill. Tile grout, shower drains, urinal cake odor, mildew on caulking — members notice and cancel.
Locker-room-first cleaning rotation. Tile + grout deep clean monthly, drain treatment biweekly, mildew abatement on caulking, restocking discipline. Members should walk in and breathe easy.
HVAC Carries the Smell
Sweat humidity feeds the HVAC. Filters clog, ducts grow mold, and the smell that lives in your studio is partly because the air is recirculating it.
HVAC return-vent and intake-grille rotation included in scope. Filter inspection cadence, mold flagging, and coordination with your HVAC contractor when something needs deeper service.
Yoga & Pilates Floor Care
Yoga and pilates studios have different floor needs than free-weight gyms. Bare-foot traffic, bamboo or vinyl floors, mat hygiene — same crew that cleans the squat rack should not be cleaning the same way here.
Studio-specific protocol: bare-foot-grade floor care, mat hygiene cycle, mirror care, prop sanitization (blocks, straps, bolsters). Different products, different microfibers, no cross-contamination.
Equipment Wipe-Downs
Members are supposed to wipe equipment after each set. They do not. By 6pm the sanitizer dispenser is empty, the towels are gone, and the equipment is contaminated.
Sanitizer station restocking, towel rotation, and direct equipment wipe-down on every visit. Cardio cluster, cable machines, dumbbell rack, kettlebell area, accessory rigs — documented.
Mirror & Glass Streak-Free
Mirrors with streaks, smudges, sweat splatter, and chalk dust signal "no one cares." For a fitness brand, the mirror IS the brand surface.
Streak-free mirror protocol with proper microfiber and dwell technique. Daily quick-pass on heavy-traffic mirrors, weekly deep on bench-press and squat-rack mirrors where chalk lives.
Gym-grade discipline, member-grade results.
Off-Hours Scheduling
Most members do not want to see cleaners during open gym time. We work overnight, pre-open, and post-close — gone before the 5am crowd.
Sweat-Specific Protocols
We use enzyme cleaners that break down sweat protein, not just generic disinfectant that masks the smell for two hours.
Locker-Room Specialists
Tile, grout, drains, mildew, restocking — locker rooms are the retention battlefield, and we know it.
