Liner sizing, which nobody talks about and everybody gets wrong

The collection route
Waste collection is a route problem, and route order affects both speed and cross-contamination.
Most crews work outward from the farthest point back toward the central collection area, so the cart never travels a corridor twice. Streams stay separated on the cart -- once two are consolidated into one bag, the recycling is gone regardless of how carefully it was sorted upstream. Odor control that addresses the source
Persistent bin odor is a source problem, not a fragrance problem. Air fresheners layered over a smelly container simply produce a scented smelly container.
